👋 About Carlos
Hi! I’m Carlos "coolapso" Colaço, originally from Portugal but now living in Kiruna, Sweden — yes, the land of northern lights and deep snow!
I work under many titles: DevOps Engineer, SRE, Platform Engineer — who knows anymore!
I’m a full-time Linux user and a proud privacy advocate. I’ve de-Googled my life, and now I’m working on disconnecting from anything Meta or X-related. Snowboarding is my therapy, but when it’s not snow season, I’m skateboarding, hitting the gym, or just outside touching grass.
Gaming used to be my main thing — especially Escape from Tarkov and (12 years ago!) World of Warcraft was my main poison! Now it’s more about that terminal life and a healthy mix of movement and code.

🚀 Carlos' Ergonomic Journey
Before Dygma, I didn’t give much thought to ergonomics. That changed when shoulder pain started creeping into my day-to-day. It was a wake-up call.

"I don’t like delays or weird key behavior. I want speed and comfort. Dygma gave me both."
I discovered the world of split keyboards, and the Defy instantly stood out. No gimmicks, just real ergonomic benefits. I now stand sometimes, sit others — whatever keeps me moving and pain-free.

🖥️ Carlos' Setup
My setup revolves around Linux and the terminal. I’m a hardcore Neovim and Sway user — no mouse, no alt-tabbing, just muscle memory and command-line bliss.
I use a single ultrawide monitor with a KVM switch between my desktop and work laptop. Both environments are identically configured to stay in sync.
My workspace is tidy, minimal, and distraction-free. I keep my tools simple: keyboard, monitor, clean desk — and a standing desk to switch postures as needed.
Health and workflow go hand in hand. I no longer waste energy on bad posture or unoptimized tools. Everything’s where I expect it to be — and that makes all the difference.
My keyboard setup has helped me not only physically, but mentally refocus on what matters most: clear code, clear mind.
