Hi! I’m Kyle F, a Data Analyst and Customer Communications Specialist based in sunny Arizona, near Phoenix.
I love all games. From Call of Duty and Destiny 2 to Forza and Diablo. But that’s just part of the story—I’m also into custom pen making, woodworking, cars, computers, gunsmithing, camping, and especially KEYBOARDS!
I like to tinker, build, and mod things constantly. If it can be customized, I’m probably already doing it.
🥰 Kyle's Keyboards
My first taste of mechanical keyboards started during the COVID days. A friend gave me a Coolermaster, and the addiction began. Since then, I’ve tested 20+ keyboards — from Epomaker to Aula to Womier and more.

But once I saw IceManIsaac and Art_Is_War rocking Dygmas on stream, and I had to try one. Office work on a regular keyboard is like a mechanic using cheap tools. Real ones use Snap-On — and to me, Dygma is the Snap-On of keyboards.
🚀 Kyle's Ergonomic Journey
I always chased a better experience — more desk space, better ergonomics. That’s what led me to the Raise. I work standing, sitting, and even walking.
And I gotta say — ESDF gamers unite. More access to more keys. Hands on the home row. More natural. You know I’m right. Come at me 😎
The split keyboard design is my favourite feature for sure. My hands are aligned with my shoulders and my posture is just better. After long workdays and late-night gaming, I still feel good.

From typing reports to pushing back the left half during FPS sessions so I can swipe the mouse wide — this keyboard adapts to everything I do.
🎮 Kyle's Setup
Three monitors, Ryzen 5800x3d, RTX 4090, GoXLR, MX Master 3, and of course, the OG Raise.
I work in all three modes: standing, walking, and sitting. Though using a mouse while walking is a tad difficult, typing is easy because your hands are anchored on the wrist pads on the Dygma.
Using the different layers to quickly mute during meetings and type quickly helps a lot.
My ideal workday starts with not driving to the office, two eggs, and homemade cold brew coffee. Never stop learning, always something new and different that could change your life.
The Raise changed my posture completely. At 6ft and 200lbs, having my hands at shoulder width instead of hunched in like a goblin? Life-changing.
🤖 Kyle's Layers
I’ve built my secondary layer around everything I do — from data analysis at work to intense gaming sessions after hours.
It’s got everything I need right at my fingertips: a numpad, multimedia controls, mute toggles, and key remaps for fast response whether I’m in a meeting or mid-match.
The beauty of layers? Speed and flexibility. I can pause music instantly, mute in-game voice chat, or punch in data — all without leaving the home row.
I’ve also added macros and shortcuts to streamline work tasks, and layered commands to simplify multitasking across multiple apps and monitors.

Gaming-wise, I’ve designed the layout to keep my mouse hand free for swiping, while the left half handles most inputs. And yes — I game ESDF, not WASD. It gives me more key access and keeps my fingers in a natural, home-row position. Fight me.
As someone who splits time between spreadsheets and sniper scopes, layer management keeps my setup smooth, fast, and fun.
